It has been a very quiet summer on the Hill waiting for puppies to grow up and Sherry's ankle to heal.
 
HHH pups made a splash at the Mayflower Specialty, garnering placements in puppy sweepstakes and in the regular classes.  Jammer Saskia babies Jaeger and Abbey, bred by Anie Goosens did us proud as did the lovely Izzy, aka HHH Ante Up owned by Mary and John Beerworth.

Jammer had a wonderful time with his friend and professional handler Melanie Primeau at the Mayflower Specialty Show in Providence RI this weekend!  Jammer puppies Jaeger and Abbey did their daddy proud!

Check out Jaeger, Sugar Maple Kennel's Take a Shot, pointing in our birdfield at 13 weeks. Owned by Tracy and Scott Daniell of Maine, Jaeger is sired by Am Can CH BIS CFC CH HHH Jam On The Brakes and out of RBIS CFC CKC CH Saskia Eowin Fondombe. It won't be long before the Daniell's will be "Taking a Shot" behind this pointing Jammer baby!

Congratulations are also in order to Mary and John Beerworth for Can CH HHH Ante Up, Izzy, taking RWB  to a 5 point major the same day!  Izzy was also BOW two of the three days of the Vermont Circuit and is on her way to her AKC Championship!

Last year at the GSPCC National show weekend, Izzy started the weekend taking a 5 point major, Best Puppy in Breed and Best Puppy in Sporting Group from the junior puppy class her first weekend out with Sherry.

Two weeks ago, she took another point piloted by her owner Mary at the St Francis shows in Quebec.

This weekend, on the last day of the GSPCC National show weekend, Izzy and Mary garnered another five point win under respected judge Michael Faulkner to finish her Canadian Championship. At just 16 months, in very limited showing, Izzy has one Championship under her belt while training for the fall hunting season!

One of the 2008 Crazy Eight litter, Izzy has a wonderful temperament, an outstanding nose, a beautiful dark correct coat and superb reach and drive. She is OFA Cardiac Clear and CERF to date.

A Successful Weekend in Canada!

Sherry once again spirited Miss Giddy away for a girls weekend in Canada! On Saturday, Giddy was BOB at the St Francis Kennel Club show under Judge Thora Brown! On Sunday, daughter Izzy aka HHH Ante Up took BOB under Judge Brian Taylor!

We are excitedly awaiting the arrival of Jammer babies in Canada. He was bred to Saskia Eowin de Fondcombe, owned by Anie Goossens. Saskia is a lovely girl, we can't wait to see who arrives!
